Making a healthy difference for Oklahoma state employees

The State Wellness Program works to promote the health and well-being of all state employees and their dependents and to contribute to a healthy and safe workplace. The State Wellness Program sponsors many wellness programs that promote health education among state employees.

This website is here to help you improve your health and offers a wealth of health-related information, resources, and event information available to state employees.

Here are a few of our goals:

  • To encourage state employees to participate in wellness activities within their agency and/or outside the agency;
  • To communicate and educate state agencies and their appointing authorities on the importance of worksite health promotion and wellness activities within their state agency;
  • To develop and implement wellness programs that promote self-health that can be utilized and adapted to individual agency needs.

The State Wellness Council is a major component of the State Wellness Program. It is an appointed council comprised of over 110 appointed state Agency Wellness Coordinators.

Our Mission to you

The State Wellness Council will provide support, resources, coordination, and development of wellness programs in state government.

The council shall encourage the participation in wellness programs by state employees.

Such health education and promotion programs will be designed to foster knowledge, attitudes, and behavioral skills necessary to improve the overall health status of all state employees, dependents, and their communities.
