Option Period began for all active State employees on October 6, 2008 and closed at 12 AM on November 3, 2008. Agencies may set an earlier deadline for paper enrollment submissions. Ask your Benefits Coordinator for details. A list of Benefits Coordinators, by agency, is provided on the left menu of this website.
Enroll 24-hours a day through the easy Online Enrollment option beginning October 6th. Simply log in on the main page of the Employees Benefits Council website with the user ID and password provided in your enrollment packet. If you do not have the letter, contact your Benefits Coordinator or call EBC at 405-232-1190.

Elections made during the 2009 Option Period will be effective beginning January 1, 2009.
Important Deadlines for Option Period:
Online enrollment ends: Midnight, November 3, 2008
Supplemental Life Insurance Applications: Postmarked by November 7, 2008 and mailed directly to the Oklahoma State Education and Employees Group Insurance Board (address located on form)
Health Savings Account Verification: by December 15, 2008
Verification of an HSA must be provided to EBC for valid enrollment in HealthChoice S-Account High Deductible Health Plan. Lack of validation will result in default enrollment to prior year's elections. Any participation in Flexible Spending Accounts will not be renewed.
